Paris is always a good idea!
For my 33rd birthday this year my partner planned an unexpected trip to Paris which also fell at the end of Paris Fashion Week so the city was busy. This was our 2nd time in Paris because who doesn’t enjoy the city of love and of course I always have visiting Paris again on my mind and in my mouth. Our first time was only for the weekend so this time around we got to make the most of this beautiful city for 10 whole days. We managed to do a lot more than we got to do the first time. We went to our first Burlesque show; Crazy Horse which was such a fabulous experience. We took the Metro for the first time got to visit La Villée Village an hour away for designer and luxury goods at discounted prices, we also stopped by Kith Paris and had lunch at Sadelle’s. We managed to do a lot of walking just to sightsee and people watch which lead us to the best tourist spots including The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Galleries Lafayette and so much more. We are complete foodies so trying new restaurants was a must. We ate at Gigi Paris and Girafe Paris which both served delicious dishes with extraordinary views of the Eiffel Tower. We went to Buddha Bar and believe me when I say nothing on their menu misses. I cannot forget to mention L’Entrecôte de Paris restaurant for the best steak and frites, it was so good we went twice. We even had a dinner cruise booked but unfortunately it got canceled due to weather conditions but we left Paris for 24hrs to visit another European country; I’ll update you on that in another post. Paris is always a good time and I already can’t wait to be back!
