Best of #NYFW Fall 2024

I found myself elated with NYFW this season after viewing a few strong collections on the runway. It’s been a few seasons now that haven’t evoked much excitement for me as far as New York fashion week so I was quite tuned in making sure not to miss a thing.

From Peter Do’s Helmut Lang to the Area collection; I feel like Peter Do is finding his groove after his debut collection last season and it shows. Area has always been an exciting brand but this season felt very innovative, executed beautifully and inspiring to analyze. The way one may feel viewing a Comme des Gardons collection from the 90’s for the first time. I’m thrilled to see more of the brands point of view in Fashion with this approach. For the women who live for classical pieces with modern sensibilities like myself of course Khaite and Proenza Schouler pulled at my heart strings, there were so many pieces I’d love to own from both collections. Last but not least, Thom Browne, what is New York fashion week without Tom Browne’s POV, that man is truly a living genius!
