First time in Dubai

Last August my partner and I visited Dubai for the first for our one year anniversary and to finalize some paper work for his investment so we definitely mixed business with a lot of leisure. Instantly after landing at DXB airport I knew we were in for a ride, the airport was exquisite, extremely clean and the workers at the airport were so welcoming. The drive from the airport to the hotel was like driving into the future; capturing the astonishing skyline of the Burj Khalifa. We wanted this trip to be relaxing as we both worked a lot prior to our trip and let me warn you August in Dubai is blazing hot so taking it easy during the day is recommended. We did a lot of poolside hanging, non-stop day parties with great food and drinks. The food in Dubai was a hit everytime, I didn’t have one bad meal there. We visited the Dubai Mall which was quite the experience, we walked for hours but probably didn’t cover 30% of the mall; it is huge! Dubai Mall has every store you could think of. During the nights we went to a few clubs with new friends we met and had such a good time. We have memories to look back on for years to come. On our anniversary day, my partner got a yacht and we spent the day enjoying each others company and looking back on such a magical year we’ve had together and our plans for the future. I fell in love with Dubai and I was so glad to experience it with my person.
